Whether your life is a living nightmare or your otherwise perfect puppy steals your slippers we can help!

Whether you have had your dog from puppyhood or have taken on a rescue it’s easy to get in a stew about those strange behaviours that seem to come from nowhere.

This is what we regularly hear from potential clients :

-He’s perfect in the house but he barks at other dogs when we take him out on the lead

-He stops to wee every few yards

-She’s carrying her toys everywhere and keeps making large nests from our duvet

-He barks all the time we’re out/at visitors/at my boyfriend

-She pulls on the lead

-When we leave her alone she punishes us by making a mess

-He snaps at other dogs when they try to sniff him

-She guards her food/toys/me/my partner

-He won’t come back no matter how much I shout

-He chases wildlife

-He disappears for days in the woods

-She’s always chewing her feet - til they bleed

-He won’t leave me alone

-She won’t let us humans snuggle

-He messes in the house

-She eats her poo

-He’s so smelly and his fur greasy

-He won’t do as I command

Just some examples of the problems we are regularly presented with - all of which are quite simply fixed once they are understood. Don’t be put off by how long you’ve had the trouble either. It may take a little longer to deal with a habit, but not necessarily.

Whatever your problem - big or small - give us a call and we’ll sort you out!

Sometimes a change can be instant (honestly!) though some things take a little longer but with all matters, the key is understanding why it is happening. This is why I usually only have to visit for 1-2 sessions; I aim to equip you to understand your dogs mind for yourself then any changes required develop naturally. Once the initial session/assessment is done though, I am available on the end of the phone or by email to guide progress, recap any bits that may have slipped etc, and if you need me to come again, of course I will.

All sessions held at your home/local area

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a trainer; I use as little equipment as possible; I don’t use or approve of aversive (punishment based) techniques; think of me as a relationship counsellor for you and your dog
